Tayuu...attempt at chiaroscuro

A quickie done in photoshop. I was fudging with a couple of my sketches in painter when I remembered I wanted to try chiaroscuro out and see if I could pull it off. So I went back to photoshop (cause I wasn't getting much love out of painter...only early symptoms of carpal tunnel) and cranked this baby out. This wannabe-tayuu sketch was something I had lying around for awhile as a doodle from being bored in some class.

I think the area I'm most pleased with is the hand and the fan because they came out the way I wanted them to. I am also pleased with myself for being able to complete this all in one sitting.
